I am currently working as a filmmaker and project manager for Human Energy, a nonprofit focused on understanding the emergence of a global noosphere–the interconnected sphere of symbolic human thought and communication that has been evolving since the first human groups emerged, at least 2,000,000 years in the past.

One primary focus of my work is the techno-social dilemma that results from the fact that in the modern age of electronic communications, technology is evolving at a far faster pace than human institutions. The failure of our institutions to cope with and regulate these rapidly evolving technologies is leading to problematic effects such as misinformation and disinformation on social media, and the challenges presented by artificial intelligence and biotechnologies.
